years, the 3 day hike from The Big Crater down to Eilat was greatly enjoyed by Henry Gild. Camping out for 2 nights and walking 18-20 kilometers a day the hike took them along cliffs, up and down rock faces that sometimes included using ropes, and trekking along very uneven surfaces with wonderful vistas on the way.

through the medium of sport. Founded by Mervin (Rocky) Muravitz, an immigrant from Durban, and three of his friends, the organization is run by volunteers. They organize and pay for victims of all ages to participate in the sport of their choosing. Swimming and horse riding are well known therapeutic sports but they have also funded snowboarding, kite surfing, skiing and special biking as well as other activities.
